Job Purpose
This assignment aims to support the UNDP Crisis Bureau's work in gender and recovery by developing two key PowerPoint presentations. The first will be a training presentation for the Gender and Recovery Toolkit, designed to translate its comprehensive framework into an accessible format for practitioners and partners. The second will be a presentation for the Annual Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Report, distilling its findings into a clear, visual, and impactful format for high-level advocacy and stakeholder engagement. These outputs will enhance knowledge sharing and capacity building on gender-responsive crisis recovery.
Responsibilities
The online volunteer will develop two distinct PowerPoint presentations. The first is a training presentation for the Gender and Recovery Toolkit, which provides guidance and best practices for integrating gender perspectives into crisis response and recovery. This presentation must effectively summarize the toolkit's core components. The second is a presentation for the Annual Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Report, designed to visually represent key messages, data, case studies, and policy recommendations for advocacy and internal discussions. Both presentations require strong visual design and clear communication of complex information.
Work Experience
Required experience includes strong skills in PowerPoint and Canva design for creating professional, engaging training presentations with effective visuals. Experience in instructional design and understanding learning principles is also required. Familiarity with gender equality and the Women, Peace, and Security agenda, along with data visualization and infographic skills, is preferred.
