Job Purpose
This assignment aims to conduct comprehensive research on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the future of work in Egypt. The research will explore AI's implications for job creation, displacement, productivity, and the evolving nature of work across various sectors. It will also consider Egypt's growing role as a hub for digital services and outsourcing. The findings will inform strategies to navigate the opportunities and risks presented by AI, ensuring inclusive economic growth and addressing potential skills gaps, particularly for vulnerable groups.
Responsibilities
The consultant will conduct in-depth research on AI's impact on Egypt's labor market. Key responsibilities include reviewing relevant documents, collecting and analyzing data, and engaging with stakeholders. The role involves identifying key findings, assessing gaps, and formulating practical recommendations. Deliverables include an inception report detailing methodology, a draft report with preliminary findings, and a final report with actionable recommendations and an executive summary. A presentation summarizing key insights and recommendations is also required, along with potential workshop reports or survey analyses if stakeholder engagement is conducted.
Work Experience
A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in research, digital transformation, or labor market analysis is necessary. Proven experience in AI, the future of work, or skills development is essential. Strong analytical and report writing skills are required. Experience working in Egypt or similar contexts is highly desirable.
