Job Purpose
The Results-Based Management Associate will support UNDP/PAPP in Gaza by strengthening its Results-Based Management (RBM) system. This role is crucial for achieving improved performance and demonstrable results in a challenging operational context. The associate will contribute to effective planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes. By ensuring RBM informs strategic direction, priorities, and programme/project design and implementation, this position will directly enhance the organization's overall impact on the development of the State of Palestine, moving beyond mere compliance to drive strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities
The UNV RBM Associate will support project design, planning, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), and results reporting by assisting with results frameworks, Theory of Change, M&E plans, progress reviews, and survey design. They will review project reports for results-orientation and evidence-based content. The associate will also support the planning, implementation, and quality assurance of project evaluations, including drafting Terms of Reference, reviewing reports, and managing the Evaluation Resource Center. Additionally, they will assist in designing and implementing internal evaluation tools. Quality assurance and compliance will be maintained by tracking project assessments, coordinating profile updates in Quantum systems, and ensuring contributions to PAPP’s Results Framework and UNDP’s Strategic Plan. The role also involves supporting internal RBM learning by identifying training needs and participating in learning activities.
Work Experience
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in Results-Based Management (RBM) and programme support is required, with a preference for experience in M&E and MIS. Experience working within the UN or other international development organizations is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, database management, and strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and performance in a challenging environment.

Technical skills encompass business management, development programmes, and information technology.
