Job Purpose

The Head of Analytics & Reporting leads analytics and business intelligence for financial performance and portfolio reporting within UNOPS. This role involves developing financial performance models based on organizational foresight and long-term planning, and promoting financial literacy across the organization. The Head of Analytics & Reporting also serves as a key resource within the Finance Group, enhancing the utilization of available data and reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making and financial sustainability.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of advanced data analytics and business intelligence products, including data models, dashboards, and reports, ensuring data integrity and relevance for senior management. Conduct in-depth analysis of organizational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, translating findings into actionable recommendations. Spearhead the development of quantitative and qualitative models for forecasting, simulation, and predictive analysis to inform long-term strategic planning and financial foresight. Champion financial literacy across the organization by developing self-service tools and supporting the Finance Group in enhancing reporting automation and data utilization. Provide team leadership, establish work plans, set objectives, monitor progress, and foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Stay abreast of emerging technologies in data science and artificial intelligence, documenting and standardizing analytical methodologies.

Work Experience

Requires progressive experience in financial analysis and reporting within a large international organization or business corporation. International managerial experience is essential. Experience working within a UN organization or with inter-governmental/inter-agency activities is desirable.
