Job Purpose

The Finance Senior Analyst - Treasury and Investment Management, reporting to the Finance Specialist, serves as the deputy team lead for the Treasury Middle Office. This role is crucial for supporting the management of UNOPS’ banking, investment, and cash management operations. It involves overseeing daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and contributing to team and knowledge management within the Treasury area, ultimately safeguarding UNOPS' assets and ensuring seamless global financial operations.

Responsibilities

The role encompasses comprehensive Banking & Cash Management, including monitoring global accounts, forecasting, optimizing payment routing, resolving discrepancies, authorizing payments, and managing bank connectivity and account lifecycles. It also involves FX and Investment Management, overseeing daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and providing analytical insights. The position drives improvements in Treasury Systems & Tools, translating business needs into system requirements. Furthermore, it provides Field Office Advisory and Support on payment solutions and treasury queries, and contributes to Knowledge sharing, policy development, and the introduction of best practices in financial services.

Work Experience

Requires relevant experience in Finance, Banking, or Treasury, and experience using a Treasury System (e.g., TMS). Experience in middle/back office operations, financial instruments, multi-bank platforms, SWIFT, and UN organizations is highly desirable.
