Job Purpose
The Executive Associate will provide comprehensive support to the Director of the Education Outcomes Fund (EOF), ensuring the efficient operation of the CEO's office. This role is crucial for managing the Director's schedule, coordinating communications, and facilitating the smooth execution of administrative and operational tasks. By handling a variety of responsibilities, the Executive Associate directly contributes to the Director's effectiveness and, by extension, to the strategic objectives of EOF. This support is vital for EOF's mission to improve education and skills financing and delivery globally, ensuring that resources are aligned with measurable outcomes and drive systemic improvements in learning and employment.
Responsibilities
Provide executive support to the Director, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing necessary briefs and talking points. Proactively identify and address urgent or sensitive matters, ensuring timely follow-up. Manage all travel arrangements for the Director. Coordinate logistics and administration for internal and external meetings and events, including preparing agendas and taking minutes. Draft and prepare correspondence, compile documents, and ensure quality control of outgoing materials. Support the Director's external communications and manage expense tracking. Assist with the organization of EOF governance meetings and team-building events. Support the administration of virtual and in-person events, including logistics and external communications. Maintain electronic filing systems, minutes, and contact reports, ensuring efficient information management.
Work Experience
A minimum of six years of relevant professional experience with secondary education, or two years with a Bachelor's degree. Experience should include executive support, event management, and/or coordination roles, particularly supporting senior leaders. Desired experience includes research, international event management, coordinating international travel, and working within the international development or global education sectors.
