Job Purpose
The Architectural Engineering Technician - Analyst applies fundamental architectural concepts to gather and analyze data, supporting specialists and managers in infrastructure project design and implementation. The role verifies that conceptual design deliverables, technical master plans, integral preliminary designs, design bases, preliminary BIM models, associated studies, and tender documents meet approved scope, quality requirements, acceptance criteria, applicable regulations, and project needs. This position involves performing rudimentary project parameter analyses, interpreting rules and procedures, and making initial recommendations to ensure efficient and effective project objective achievement, with a focus on vertical construction and internationally funded projects.
Responsibilities
The role involves technical management of preliminary projects, designs, and works, including reviewing architectural, urban, and functional products from external contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with contractual scope, acceptance criteria, and quality standards. It requires tracking design deliverables, preparing review matrices, identifying deviations, and proposing corrective actions. The position also focuses on architectural, urban, and functional quality assurance by verifying coherence between functional programs, design guides, and project requirements, and evaluating the functional quality of proposed solutions. Furthermore, it entails interdisciplinary coordination to check compatibility between architecture, structure, and MEP, identifying coordination risks. The role supports risk management, document control, and traceability by identifying technical risks and maintaining technical records. Finally, it provides technical support for procurement by preparing and reviewing terms of reference and tender documents.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of professional experience in architecture, design, technical coordination, or review of vertical infrastructure projects is required. Proven experience in vertical construction projects (e.g., institutional buildings, offices, public buildings) and in reviewing or assuring design products from third parties is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is also required.
