Job Purpose
The Administration Clerk will provide essential administrative and operational support for a national project focused on strengthening pre-hospital healthcare services in Peru through advanced medical transport units. This role is crucial for ensuring the proper documentation, organization of information, and coordination of activities related to the project's medical equipment components. The position supports the Biomedical Engineer and contributes to the successful implementation of the project, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals 3, 5, and 13. The role ensures smooth project execution by managing the lifecycle of medical equipment, from acquisition to delivery and user training.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to the project team, particularly assisting the procurement team with tender evaluations for equipment. Track project-related documents, including communications, delivery records, technical guarantees, maintenance plans, sanitary registrations, user manuals, and pre-inspection reports, ensuring timely and efficient management of both digital and physical files. Offer operational support for project-developed tools and applications. Assist with administrative and logistical processes for workshops, training sessions, meetings, and other events. Document project processes as requested by the technical team, ensuring proper identification, storage, and accessibility. Maintain effective internal communication within the project team. Support the logistical and operational preparation of internal and external meetings, presentations, and national missions. Assist in preparing project reports and correspondence. Undertake other assigned tasks by the supervisor.
Work Experience
Requires 1-3 years of experience in similar roles, providing technical-administrative support in health projects or biomedical equipment maintenance programs. Experience with Google Suite is mandatory. Experience in pre-hospital care, biomedical equipment projects, or with United Nations system offices is desirable.
