Organizational Context
The Asia Pacific Regional Office oversees UNOPS operations across 17 countries, focusing on strategic leadership and operational excellence. The South Asia Multi-Country Office (SAMCO) supports operations in six countries, providing expertise in various sectors. In Pakistan, UNOPS has been a partner since 1999, supporting SDGs through essential services, infrastructure, and emergency response, collaborating with government and development partners.
Job Purpose
The Digital Fundraising Consultant will be instrumental in advancing UNICEF Pakistan's private sector fundraising goals through digital channels. This role involves the strategic planning, development, and execution of digital marketing and fundraising initiatives aimed at maximizing donor acquisition and retention. Key responsibilities include managing performance-driven digital campaigns, leveraging analytics to gain actionable insights into donor behavior and journeys, and optimizing digital platforms to enhance revenue and increase donor lifetime value. The consultant will collaborate closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive and impactful donor engagement.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute digital fundraising campaigns, including online advertising, SEM, and social media, developing data-driven strategies to improve donor acquisition efficiency and reduce costs. Strengthen digital content and creative execution by coordinating campaign planning, generating innovative ideas, and preparing detailed briefs for agencies. Conduct digital analytics, monitoring KPIs, and using tools like Google Analytics to generate insights for optimization. Manage stakeholders, vendors, and partners, fostering productive relationships with agencies and media, and collaborating internally across departments. Support budget management, monitor expenditure, and contribute to forecasting and reporting, while staying updated on marketing trends and best practices.
Work Experience
Required experience includes managing ROI-driven digital fundraising and communication using paid media platforms, sourcing content for impactful fundraising propositions, and working with search engines, display ads, email marketing, social media, e-commerce, and analytics. Experience optimizing external advertising agencies is also necessary. Desirable experience includes data visualization tools, CRM (Salesforce), and social listening analysis.
