Job Purpose
This role is crucial for driving complex business and process transformation within supply chain management. It involves translating partner needs into scalable solutions, optimizing processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the entire supply chain. The specialist will focus on business process reengineering, solution design, and data management to achieve measurable improvements. This position sits at the critical intersection of process, data, and technology, ensuring that supply chain operations are efficient, effective, and sustainable, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of peacebuilding, humanitarian, and development projects.
Responsibilities
The specialist will conduct business analysis for key supply chain functions, including demand and supply planning, forecasting, inventory, warehouse, procurement, and order management. Responsibilities include facilitating stakeholder consultations to build consensus, implementing and enhancing supply chain information management systems for automation, and supporting requirements gathering and configuration. The role involves developing process maps, documentation, and technical requirements to identify and address performance gaps and risks. Additionally, the specialist will lead user training, knowledge transfer, and SOP development, while promoting continuous improvement and end-user adoption of digital solutions and strengthening local capacity for planning and data stewardship.
Work Experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, information systems management, change management, or business analysis, specifically within supply chain management or ERP implementations in humanitarian, non-profit, public health, development, government, international organization, or private sector settings. Experience with ERP and APS tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is necessary. Extensive experience in implementing ERP supply chain management, logistics, inventory solutions, and business process transformation is desirable.
