Job Purpose
The Regional Human Resources Senior Manager is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness and performance of HR delivery across Latin America and the Caribbean. This involves overseeing critical functions such as workforce planning, staffing, performance management, HR operations, organizational effectiveness, and people-related risk management. The role serves as the primary lead for regional HR operations, providing essential operational insights, risk analysis, and strategic feedback to the Regional People Business Partner. This ensures that regional realities inform corporate policy discussions and that HR implementation remains disciplined, coherent, and effective throughout the region, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Lead the regional HR operation for Latin America and the Caribbean, providing functional leadership and oversight to HR teams while ensuring consistent standards and timely delivery of priorities. Coordinate the implementation of global people strategies and corporate HR standards across the region, translating them into practical action plans and monitoring progress. Oversee regional workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning initiatives to address capacity gaps and develop high-potential talent. Drive performance management processes, ensuring accountability and alignment with organizational objectives. Manage HR operations, compliance, and risk management, ensuring timely and consistent implementation of HR processes. Contribute to organizational effectiveness by leading people-related change initiatives and strengthening management routines. Consolidate and analyze people data to provide regional management insights for evidence-based decision-making.
Work Experience
Requires senior leadership experience in Human Resources at a regional or global level, including team supervision and accountability for HR delivery. Proven ability to advise executive leadership on workforce, talent, and performance matters is essential. Experience leading HR workstreams, transformation initiatives, and managing HR priorities in complex organizations is necessary. Desirable experience includes exposure to the Latin America and Caribbean region and leading HR functions in public sector or international development contexts.
