ITG provides essential systems for project implementation and corporate initiatives, ensuring operational excellence. The AI Centre of Excellence is being established to roll out robust AI infrastructure and innovative solutions, ensuring scalability and continuous improvement.
Job Purpose
The AI Business Analyst provides the analytical and documentation backbone for the AI Centre of Excellence, reporting to the AI Adoption Coordinator. This role is crucial for eliciting and documenting business requirements, mapping workflows, analyzing adoption data, and maintaining the knowledge base. The purpose is to ensure AI solutions are well-understood, properly documented, and continuously improved based on evidence, supporting informed design, rollout decisions, and overall effectiveness of AI initiatives within UNOPS.
Responsibilities
Analyze business needs across HQ and field offices to ensure AI solutions are contextually relevant and well-documented. Conduct requirements-gathering sessions and document needs as user stories and functional specifications. Map current business processes, identifying pain points and automation opportunities. Collect and analyze adoption data, benchmarking performance against KPIs and producing analytical reports. Develop and maintain user-facing documentation, solution inventories, and the Technical Library. Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and assist in capacity building for data literacy and ethical AI principles.
Work Experience
Requires 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or related areas, with specific experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, analytical reporting, and technical documentation. Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and experience working with diverse stakeholders are essential. Experience with performance tracking and AI implementation in development contexts is desirable.
