Senior Avature Systems Analyst
Organizational Context
UNOPS has implemented Talent+, a new recruitment and onboarding system powered by Avature, serving as its primary Applicant Tracking System (ATS). As the platform evolves with operational needs and HR policies, continuous configuration support is essential to ensure it remains aligned with stakeholder requirements and effectively manages talent acquisition processes across the organization.
Job Purpose
Under the supervision of the Solutions Designer, this role provides flexible, on-demand configuration support for the Talent+ recruitment platform (Avature ATS and Onboarding). The primary purpose is to implement system adjustments and configuration changes based on evolving operational needs and HR policies. This involves effectively engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, interpreting their requirements, and translating these into system configuration actions, ranging from simple updates to more complex, multi-step adjustments, ensuring the platform's continued alignment with organizational objectives and user needs.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include engaging with People and Culture Group (PCG) stakeholders to understand and document configuration needs and system change requests, facilitating structured conversations to clarify requirements, and assessing scope and dependencies. The role involves working closely with IT colleagues to implement configuration changes within the Avature Talent+ system, supporting both routine adjustments and complex tasks. This includes testing changes prior to deployment, acting as a technical liaison between stakeholders and IT, providing timely status updates, and escalating issues as needed. Additionally, maintaining clear documentation of system configurations, changes, and rationale, and supporting quality checks to ensure configurations meet requirements and do not introduce unintended system behavior are crucial duties.
Work Experience
Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in system requirement analysis and technical implementation of SaaS solutions, with proven expertise in end-to-end Avature configuration, particularly ATS and Onboarding modules. Experience in HR workflow optimization, stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, and maintaining technical documentation is essential. Experience with system administration and troubleshooting in a global context is also required. Desired experience includes technical understanding of Web Service APIs, relational data modeling (SQL), and Agile methodologies.
