The QUDSI-R4R project, funded by the EU, aims to improve socio-economic conditions in Jerusalem's Old City through urban regeneration and business development.
Job Purpose
The Marketing Expert will lead the end-to-end technical process for developing marketing support packages for project-affiliated entities within Jerusalem's Old City. This involves assessing marketing needs, defining support packages, preparing procurement documentation for external service providers, and overseeing the development and delivery of tangible marketing outputs. The role ensures that all marketing materials are strategically aligned, technically sound, and effectively implemented to enhance visibility, customer engagement, and revenue generation for the supported affiliates, contributing to the project's goal of fostering sustainable economic activity and urban regeneration.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive marketing needs assessments for selected affiliates and define prioritized marketing support packages, including detailed scopes and deliverables. Lead the conceptualization of marketing outputs, establishing creative direction, branding, messaging, and initial technical specifications aligned with target audiences. Prepare complete, procurement-ready tender documentation, including Terms of Reference and technical specifications, for external service providers. Support the procurement process by providing technical clarifications and participating in the evaluation of proposals. Oversee the design, development, and production phases, reviewing drafts, validating content and branding, and providing ongoing technical guidance to ensure quality and alignment with project requirements. Ensure all outputs meet production-ready standards and comply with approved specifications, conducting quality control checks. Coordinate the final delivery and handover of all marketing materials, ensuring compliance and providing usage guidance.
Work Experience
Requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, including developing marketing materials, content creation, creative design direction, and preparing tender documentation. Experience working with marketing agencies, supervising service providers, and in sectors like SMEs, cultural initiatives, or tourism is essential. Experience in multicultural or developing country contexts, particularly in humanitarian or development settings, is desirable.
