Job Purpose
The Administration Senior Officer is crucial for enhancing administration service delivery across the MCO, acting as a business partner to leadership and programme teams. This role ensures services are efficient, scalable, and compliant, directly supporting project delivery in a complex, high-risk environment. Key contributions include strengthening operational planning, improving systems and performance monitoring, and providing reliable administrative support to programme implementation. The position actively analyzes and refines administrative practices to meet evolving operational demands and ensure effective resource utilization.
Responsibilities
The Administration Senior Officer is responsible for developing and improving administration service delivery strategies, aligning them with portfolio needs and operational realities. This includes acting as a business partner to programme teams, advising on service delivery approaches, and providing operational inputs on resource requirements. The role oversees efficient and compliant administration services across the MCO, coordinating support for projects and ensuring cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, HR, Finance, and Security. Additionally, the officer supports the development and optimization of administration systems, establishes performance monitoring, and identifies process improvements. Field support, operational resilience, risk management, and team leadership are also key duties, ensuring effective operations in diverse environments and fostering a high-performance culture.
Work Experience
Requires relevant experience in administration, operations management, or related areas. Experience working within international organizations or the UN system, and specifically in high-risk or conflict-affected environments, is considered desirable.
