Job Purpose
To provide administrative and coordination support for the formulation of a new Programme for Country Partnership (PCP) in Lao PDR, contributing to inclusive and sustainable industrial development and economic diversification.
Responsibilities
Compile background information on economic and social factors; coordinate data collection and verification; assist in refining PCP documents by incorporating feedback; support the development of monitoring and evaluation plans; liaise with counterparts for consultation and validation meetings; finalize communication materials; support the identification of intervention areas and development of project concepts; assist in collecting and organizing data for PCP formulation; provide administrative support for meetings and events; process payments; and assist in drafting reports and ad-hoc assignments.
Work Experience
A minimum of eight years of relevant work experience is required. Experience in office procedures, preferably within the UN system or a multicultural environment, is desirable. Experience in project administration, accounting, and finance, supporting managerial staff, and using administrative skills for project development and implementation is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet use is required. Experience with SAP or similar ERP software is desirable.
