Organizational Context

UNIDO's mission is to promote and accelerate inclusive and sustainable industrial development in Member States, aligning with the 2030 Agenda and SDG-9. The Directorate of Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Industrial Development (TCS) oversees divisions focused on areas like Circular Economy and Green Industry (TCS/CEG), which promotes transitions to circular economies and reduced environmental pollution. The Circular Resource Efficiency Unit (TCS/CEG/CRE) specifically supports capacity development for circular and resource-efficient consumption and production patterns.

Job Purpose

To support the Division of Circular Economy and Green Industry (TCS/CEG) in its work on promoting circular economy policies, programmes, and practices, with a focus on research, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge product development.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of Circular Economy (CE) roadmaps through research, data collection, and analysis. Compile best practices and policy frameworks. Draft technical inputs and background documents. Support stakeholder mapping and preparation for consultations. Create presentations and visual materials. Draft and edit communication materials related to CE initiatives.
