Job Purpose
To provide high-level technical support for the design, coordination, and implementation of industrial development interventions, with a focus on pharmaceutical and biomanufacturing systems strengthening in developing countries, ensuring alignment with project objectives and results-oriented execution.
Responsibilities
Execute and monitor project activities, coordinate consultants and partners, provide strategic and technical leadership for health industrial development, prepare project inputs, monitor progress and expenditures, manage external relations with stakeholders, support investment promotion and access to finance, contribute to advocacy and resource mobilization, and perform other related duties.
Work Experience
A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree (5 years with Master's, 3 years with Doctorate) is required. This includes international experience in technical cooperation in developing countries, designing and implementing technical assistance projects in pharmaceutical/biomanufacturing, supporting health industry development (including GMP and QMS), evaluating country needs, conceptualizing multi-partner projects, and UN project implementation. Experience in Africa and all phases of the project cycle is highly desirable.

Proficiency in project execution and monitoring, technical leadership, stakeholder management, investment promotion, resource mobilization, and knowledge management. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team, communicate clearly, and manage work efficiently and accountably.
