Job Purpose
To administer project elements and support the implementation of technical cooperation programmes and ITPO Russia activities, contributing to UNIDO's global network of Investment and Technology Promotion Offices in promoting industrial development and economic growth in developing countries.
Responsibilities
Administer technical cooperation programmes and specific projects of limited complexity. Organize, summarize, and submit project documentation and technical materials. Analyze project implementation, identify issues, and propose solutions. Draft project document sections. Monitor project execution, track financial processes using UNIDO systems (e.g., SAP PPM), and manage budget revisions. Support the organization of events, missions, and conferences. Prepare advocacy and informational materials. Facilitate cross-divisional coordination and maintain institutional memory. Assist with partnership development and resource mobilization.
Work Experience
Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in project administration, coordination, or implementation within international organizations, governmental bodies, or the private sector. Experience in areas relevant to the Directorate of Global Partnerships and External Relations is required. Proven communication and coordination skills are desirable. Familiarity with the UN system and UNIDO procedures is an asset.
