Job Purpose
UNICEF is dedicated to ensuring that digital technologies enhance equitable, inclusive, and effective learning outcomes for children. The Global Learning Innovation Hub, within UNICEF’s Office of Innovation, assists country offices, governments, and partners in identifying, developing, and scaling solutions that improve the quality and impact of digital education. The Hub has developed the EdTech for Good Framework to assess EdTech solutions across Safety, Impact, Pedagogy, Scalability, and Accessibility. The Learning Cabinet utilizes this framework for rigorous assessment of high-quality EdTech solutions. This includes coordinating applications through the Quick Assessment and Full Assessment stages, integrating expert evaluators into the assessment process, and supporting the Learning Cabinet Committee in making assessment-related decisions. The consultant will also manage communication with applicants and internal stakeholders. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the continuous improvement of the Learning Cabinet’s evaluation and curation processes, pipeline management platform workflows, and the EdTech for Good Framework by systematically capturing and communicating feedback from applicants, evaluators, and UNICEF stakeholders. The assignment is temporary and output-based, requiring the delivery of clearly defined assessment management, reporting, process improvement, and stakeholder coordination deliverables over the 12-month contract period.
