Job Purpose

The purpose of this consultancy is to conduct an independent, end-to-end assessment of the Service Bundle Pricing Tool used by the Supply Division Cold Chain Team. The consultant will provide actionable recommendations to enhance the tool's analytical robustness, governance, and control of the environment. Additionally, the recommendations should focus on improving operational usability and strategic relevance for future procurement decision-making processes. This review is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of UNICEF's procurement strategies for essential equipment.

Responsibilities

Conduct an independent, end-to-end assessment of the Service Bundle Pricing Tool for refrigerators and freezers installations. Analyze the tool's current analytical robustness, governance, and control mechanisms. Evaluate the operational usability of the tool for procurement teams. Assess the strategic relevance of the tool for future procurement decision-making. Develop and present actionable recommendations for enhancing the tool's effectiveness. Collaborate with the Supply Division Cold Chain Team throughout the review process. Prepare a comprehensive report detailing findings, analysis, and recommendations. Ensure recommendations are practical and implementable within the UNICEF context. Review relevant documentation and data related to the pricing tool. Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and insights. Ensure the review aligns with UNICEF's procurement policies and objectives.

Work Experience

At least 5 years in Consulting on Service Contracting and Pricing for strategic commodities. Experience in the public sector, UN/UNICEF is an asset.
