National Consultant to Maximize the Impact and Outcomes of School Revitalization Efforts

Job Purpose
The national consultancy aims to bolster the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (MoPSE) in Indonesia by strengthening governance, financing, planning, data systems, and quality standards within the school revitalization program. The objective is to ensure that the program is implemented equitably, efficiently, and with maximum impact. This role will involve providing expert support to enhance the overall effectiveness and outcomes of educational initiatives, contributing to the realization of national education goals and the well-being of students.
Responsibilities
Support the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (MoPSE) in enhancing governance, financing, planning, data systems, and quality standards for the school revitalization program. Ensure equitable, efficient, and impactful implementation of the program. Evaluate existing educational policies, identify systemic gaps, and propose actionable recommendations for improvement. Provide deep insights into national education goals, public sector budgeting, and institutional funding mechanisms. Gather, analyze, and present educational and demographic data to inform decision-making. Draft technical manuals, step-by-step frameworks, quality assurance criteria, and compliance checklists to guide program implementation and monitoring. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of revitalization strategies. Contribute to the overall strengthening of the education sector in Indonesia through expert advice and support.
Work Experience
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in education policy and planning related areas is required.
