Job Purpose
The Partnerships Manager will act as the operational backbone and delivery lead for the NEST initiative, an innovative multi-stakeholder partnership designed to transform early childhood development (ECD) outcomes across the East Asia-Pacific region. This managerial and results-driven position is responsible for making NEST happen by leading, managing, and operationalizing the initiative. The role ensures strategic priorities are translated into funded, well-coordinated, and measurable actions, driving implementation, mobilizing resources, enabling effective governance, and ensuring NEST delivers tangible results on time and to standard.
Responsibilities
The Partnerships Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for NEST’s day-to-day functioning and strategic execution, across four core pillars: Strategic Leadership & Delivery Management, Resource Mobilization & External Engagement, Partnership Coordination & Secretariat Management, and Governance, Financial Oversight & Reporting. This includes driving resource mobilization, coordinating multiple workstreams, establishing effective governance, and ensuring operational excellence. The role requires translating vision into action, managing complex multi-stakeholder dynamics, and ensuring the initiative's long-term sustainability through government adoption and partner support. The Manager will be accountable for the overall success and impact of NEST in improving ECD policies and programmes across the region.
Work Experience
Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Programme Management, partnership coordination, secretariat leadership, or similar roles. Demonstrated experience with multi-stakeholder initiatives, donors, and government counterparts. Proven track record in resource mobilization, partnership management, and operational delivery. Experience in ECD, social development, or regional initiatives is also required.
