Job Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Operations, the Administrative Associate (People and Culture) undertakes administrative management support services assisting in ensuring efficient and cost-effective administrative support services, providing guidance to administrative staff as well and supporting staff in office administrative assignments. Ensures the office’s administrative operations and services as well as specialized people and culture functions follow the organization's administrative policy, procedures, rules and regulations. Under the supervision and guidance of the supervisor, the Administrative Associate (People and Culture) is responsible for executing a broad variety of procedural and specialized administrative and people and culture tasks requiring in-depth knowledge of UNICEF administrative and people and culture procedures, processes and policies.
Responsibilities
Key functions, accountabilities and related duties/tasks include: Accurate interpretation and implementation of administrative policies and procedures; Budget management; Administrative support services, security and safety; Procurement; Asset and Property management; Administrative transactions and contractual arrangements; Staff learning and development; Partnership, coordination and collaboration; Supervises drivers; Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned as required. The role requires strong project management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, along with confidence in using digital tools and adapting to new technologies. The successful candidate will also demonstrate expertise in HR Systems, Policy Implementation, and Staff Development, ensuring efficient operations and continuous organizational improvement.
Work Experience
At least 6 years of relevant work experience in Administration, Facilities Management, Human Resources, Supply Management, Transportation and any other related fields.
