STEP 2.0 Advisor to support STEP 2.0 implementation in Bolivia (Home-Based)

Job Purpose

The assignment aims to equip the implementing partner and key facilitators with the knowledge, tools, and methodologies required to effectively deliver STEP 2.0 in Bolivia. This will strengthen the leadership, change management, and problem-solving capacities of health supply chain leaders and managers. The ultimate goal is to drive immunization supply chain transformation and facilitate the implementation of priorities identified in Bolivia's National Immunization Supply Chain Roadmap. This consultancy is crucial for building a stronger, more resilient, and sustainable immunization supply chain workforce capable of driving continuous improvement and improving health outcomes for children and communities across Bolivia.

Responsibilities

The STEP 2.0 Advisor will be responsible for training and guiding the newly selected Implementing Partner prior to and during the implementation of the STEP 2.0 program in Bolivia. This includes ensuring the partner understands the program's objectives, methodologies, and governance structure. The advisor will provide expert support to the partner in adapting the program for the Latin America and Caribbean region, considering it is the first STEP 2.0 program to be administered in this region and the first to be delivered in Spanish. Responsibilities will encompass program preparation, workshop facilitation support, and guidance during the challenge period, ensuring the program effectively enhances leadership and change management skills among health supply chain professionals in Bolivia. The advisor will also monitor progress and provide feedback to ensure successful program delivery and achievement of intended outcomes.

Work Experience

At least 5 years of professional experience in programme management, preferably in public health or supply chain strengthening initiatives. Experience in designing, delivering, or managing leadership development and change management programmes is highly desirable. Experience working with UNICEF or other UN agencies is an asset.
