Job Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to provide dedicated, deliverable-based communications and outreach support to the Bebbo Parenting Programme. The consultant will plan and manage the push notification cycle, manage user feedback channels, support Country Offices with communications and outreach planning and content localization, produce newsletters and outreach and visibility products, contribute to communications quality assurance and MERL activities, and document and share good practices and lessons across participating countries. Under the supervision of the Contract Manager, and in close collaboration with the Bebbo central team and participating Country Offices, the consultant will deliver five key workstreams, all carried out remotely.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for user engagement through push notifications, managing user feedback and communications quality assurance. This includes developing and implementing strategies for push notification cycles and ensuring timely and effective responses to user feedback. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for visibility, outreach, and newsletter production, creating engaging content to promote the Bebbo Parenting Programme. Support to Country Offices will involve content adaptation and knowledge management, ensuring localized communication strategies and sharing best practices. Finally, the consultant will provide communications support to monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) activities, contributing to the programme's overall effectiveness and impact.
Work Experience
Experience in communications, outreach, digital media, content creation, and user engagement is required. Experience supporting international programmes and working with diverse country offices is desirable. Familiarity with early childhood development programmes is an asset.
