Job Purpose
This consultancy will contribute to the identification, development, and management of partnership and fundraising opportunities. The role involves supporting donor engagement and proposal development, and facilitating the implementation of priority partnership initiatives and events. The consultant will play a key role in strengthening UNICEF's relationships with donors and partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and child rights advocacy. The position aims to enhance resource mobilization efforts and support the effective delivery of UNICEF's mandate in Belarus, contributing to the realization of children's rights through strategic engagement and effective partnership management.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and manage partnership and fundraising opportunities. Support donor engagement activities, including meetings, communications, and relationship building. Develop compelling proposals, concept notes, and partnership materials tailored to donor requirements and interests. Facilitate the implementation of priority partnership initiatives and events, ensuring successful execution and follow-up. Conduct research on potential donors and funding landscapes to inform strategy. Monitor and report on partnership progress and fundraising outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective partnership strategies. Contribute to the development of guidance, knowledge products, and training materials related to partnerships and fundraising. Foster public partnerships and engage stakeholders to advance UNICEF's mission. Analyze partnership data and trends to identify areas for improvement and innovation. Ensure all partnership activities align with UNICEF's values, policies, and strategic objectives.
Work Experience
5-10 years of relevant professional work experience in partnerships, fundraising, PR, or marketing. Experience in developing partnerships, fundraising, or engagement strategies. Experience in preparing donor proposals, concept notes, and partnership materials.
