Job Purpose
The Content Management Consultant will support the Bebbo Parenting Programme by managing content within its Content Management System (CMS). Bebbo is a free application offering evidence-based guidance for parents and caregivers from pregnancy through early childhood, covering health, nutrition, responsive care, early learning, safety, child protection, and parental well-being. The consultant will ensure content is created, edited, organized, localized, published, and quality-assured for multilingual deployment. This role involves supporting country teams remotely, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with stakeholders, and developing technical documentation to ensure the effective and consistent delivery of parenting guidance through the Bebbo application across various platforms and regions.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the Drupal-based Content Management System (CMS) for the Bebbo Parenting Programme, ensuring content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with programme objectives. Create, edit, organize, and publish digital content, including text, images, and multimedia, ensuring adherence to style guides and quality standards. Oversee the localization and translation process for content, coordinating with country teams and external translators to adapt guidance for diverse linguistic and cultural contexts. Provide remote support to country offices and implementing partners using the Bebbo CMS, including troubleshooting technical issues, guiding workflow processes, and following up on content-related requests. Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, standard operating procedures, and training materials for the Bebbo CMS. Deliver virtual training sessions, demonstrations, and technical clinics to equip users with the necessary skills to manage content effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including programme specialists, content experts, designers, developers, and vendors, to ensure seamless content integration and product development. Monitor content performance and user feedback, making recommendations for improvements and updates to the CMS and content strategy. Ensure compliance with UNICEF's digital, accessibility, data protection, and child-safeguarding standards throughout all content management activities.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of professional experience in digital content management, content operations, digital communications, product support, or knowledge management. At least two years of experience managing content for a consumer-facing digital product, mobile app, or web platform, preferably in parenting, ECD, health, or education. Over two years of hands-on experience with a CMS (Drupal or similar) for content creation, editing, localization, publishing, and quality assurance. Experience supporting remote teams and developing technical documentation.
