Job Purpose
The purpose of this consultancy is to support the design, development, and facilitation of the UNICEF Academy's high-value fundraising and partnerships pillar. This role will deliver a unified and strategic capacity-building program for mid-level managers, contributing to the broader UNICEF Academy portfolio. Specifically, the consultant will manage and further develop the High Value GLAM program, collaborating with PFP stakeholders and the UNICEF Academy team to create a best-in-class learning experience. This experience aims to bridge high-value income streams, strengthen cross-channel collaboration, and prepare fundraisers for complex, high-impact partnerships, with a focus on the corporate channel as the driving force. The consultant will also provide ongoing support in knowledge management, internal communication, and partnership support to the Corporate Partnership team and potentially other high-value teams.
Responsibilities
Support the design, development, and facilitation of the high-value fundraising and partnerships pillar within the UNICEF Academy. Manage and further develop the High Value GLAM program, ensuring it aligns with the corporate channel's strategic objectives and contributes to strengthening cross-channel collaboration. Collaborate with PFP stakeholders and the UNICEF Academy team to create and deliver a best-in-class learning experience for fundraisers. Provide continuous support in knowledge management, internal communication, and partnership support to the Corporate Partnership team and other relevant high-value teams. Analyze the overall Corporate Partnerships learning offer, identify gaps, and propose solutions to enhance the portfolio in coordination with the UNICEF Academy team. Contribute to building the skills, tools, and confidence of fundraisers to excel in a competitive fundraising landscape. Ensure the learning programs are tailored to equip mid-level managers for complex and high-impact partnerships. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across different fundraising channels. Assist in organizing and delivering training sessions, workshops, and other capacity-building initiatives. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of relevant professional work experience in private sector fundraising or related high-value fundraising channels. Experience in coordinating and curating content, managing multiple communication channels, learning and development, capacity building, knowledge management, publishing in SharePoint, and managing networks/communities/events (online and offline) is required.
