Job Purpose
UNICEF Nepal, in coordination with the National Health Education, Information, Communication Center (NHEICC) of the Ministry of Health and Food Safety, is organizing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Training on Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) and Risk Communications and Community Engagement (RCCE) in Kathmandu. The purpose of this consultancy is to design and deliver a high-quality, competency-based AI training program focused on SBC and RCCE that strengthens participants’ practical skills in AI-focused SBC document and content design, implementation, facilitation, and institutionalization across sectors and governance levels. The assignment aims to conduct SBC- and RCCE-focused AI training, provide guidance to develop content and documents, and contribute to the scale-up and institutionalization of AI-based SBC and RCCE within government systems.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation phase by consulting with UNICEF Nepal and government partners, reviewing relevant documents, and finalizing the AI training agenda and design. Develop and submit a comprehensive SBC/RCCE-focused artificial intelligence (AI) training package, including presentations, exercises, case studies, role-plays, and participatory AI learning tools, aligned with NHEICC’s requirements. Facilitate the 1-day training in August 2026, a half day training in October 2026 and a half day training in November 2026 by delivering key AI technical sessions in content design, guiding participatory learning activities, and ensuring active engagement using AI tools. Provide 1 hour per day, five days a week, for two months of online guidance to participants for continuous learning. Coordinate the training flow, manage session quality and timing, support daily reflections, and work closely with the NHEICC/UNICEF focal persons to ensure effective delivery. Prepare and submit the final training report, including learning outcomes, participant feedback, recommendations, finalized materials, and participant outputs, within 1 week of the Training. The Training Facilitator will be accountable for overall quality and delivery.
