The Business Intelligence unit supports fundraising decisions through data analysis and visualization.
Job Purpose
The Business Intelligence Intern will support the analysis, integration, and visualization of data to aid strategic decision-making in UNICEF Chile's fundraising area. This role contributes to monitoring key indicators related to donor acquisition, retention, payment collection, and revenue. The intern will assist in generating reports, analyses, and models to identify improvement opportunities, anticipate risks, and propose initiatives aimed at strengthening donor loyalty and maximizing income to fund UNICEF's mission. The position offers hands-on experience in data science projects, donor segmentation, report automation, and exploratory analysis, directly contributing to the operational efficiency and strategic goals of the fundraising department.
Responsibilities
The intern will provide support in data analysis, including exploration, cleaning, processing, and analyzing databases related to donors, campaigns, revenue, payment collection, and partner acquisition and retention. They will assist in donor segmentation based on behavioral variables, campaign response, payment collection, tenure, donation amount, or other relevant criteria. A key responsibility will be supporting the generation of charts, dashboards, visual summaries, and reporting inputs to facilitate the interpretation of complex information by non-technical teams. The intern will also support the preparation and updating of periodic reports on key fundraising metrics, contributing to performance monitoring and the identification of gaps, risks, and opportunities. Additionally, they will assist in constructing executive presentations, graphics, tables, and analytical summaries to clearly communicate findings. Documenting processes and methodologies used in analyses, reports, and projects will also be part of the role, ensuring data consistency and traceability.

Skills
