Job Purpose

The purpose of this consultancy is to engage one or more professional photographers to provide professional photography services for UNICEF. This service will involve capturing high-quality images for institutional communication, dissemination, and documentation. The scope includes events, presentations, activations, interviews, studio sessions, portraits, life stories, press conferences, and other initiatives requiring visual documentation across various UNICEF departments. The selected professional(s) will ensure that all delivered material adheres to UNICEF's standards, policies, and inclusive visual language, including gender-sensitive approaches. The engagement will be through a Long-Term Agreement (LTA-LVC) for an initial period of one year, with potential for two one-year extensions, subject to satisfactory performance. The LTA-LVC is a non-binding agreement, and services will be procured based on UNICEF's periodic needs.

Responsibilities

The professional photographer will be responsible for the photographic registration of institutional events, outdoor and indoor presentations, activations, interviews, studio sessions, individual and group portraits, life stories, and press conferences, as well as any other activity or initiative requiring visual documentation by UNICEF's various areas. The photographer must ensure that all delivered material meets UNICEF's standards and policies, including the use of inclusive and gender-sensitive visual language. Deliverables will be provided according to the requirements of UNICEF's areas throughout the year, with work potentially taking place in Lima and other regions. Strict confidentiality regarding events, materials, information, and documents accessed during and after the contract period is mandatory. The photographer will provide a price list for different service durations (1-hour, half-day, full-day) and short video clips (b-roll) for social media. Real-time photo delivery for social media, a press package of representative photos, and the full set of photos on the same day of the event are expected. High-resolution JPG files will be delivered via a download link. Basic editing (color, framing, exposure) is required, without content alteration. The photographer will cede patrimonial rights for exclusive institutional, communicational, and editorial use by UNICEF, worldwide and indefinitely, while retaining moral rights.

Work Experience

Proven experience as a professional photographer, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in event coverage, portraiture, and documentary-style photography. Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is desirable.
