Job Purpose

The Immunization Officer will be accountable for professional technical contribution to project design, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and administration of immunization programme/project activities. This includes data analysis, programme support, delivery, progress reporting, and commitment for expansion of immunization coverage, as well as enhancement of teamwork and capacity building. The role supports the achievement of planned objectives of the work plan, aligned with country programme goals, objectives, and strategy, in collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH) and sub-national level health authorities in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

The Immunization Officer will support program development, planning, and review, monitoring and delivery of results. This includes upstream and downstream activities related to immunization programs. Key responsibilities involve monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on program progress and outcomes. The role also entails fostering partnerships and leveraging resources to enhance immunization coverage and impact. The officer will work under the supervision of the Immunization Specialist and collaborate with the child health team, SBC and T4D teams, the World Health Organization (WHO), and other partners to operationalize strategies and innovations for improved immunization outcomes.
