Job Purpose
UNICEF Chile seeks a specialized consultant to strengthen institutional mechanisms for knowledge management and programmatic monitoring of the triple nexus. This role will ensure institutional continuity in strategic processes of organization, analysis, systematization, and use of evidence generated by the country office. The objective is to develop tools, repositories, analytical inputs, technical reports, and systematization mechanisms that contribute to results monitoring, institutional learning, and evidence-based decision-making. The assignment is temporary, based on defined, specific, and measurable deliverables related to knowledge management tools, analytical products, programmatic monitoring inputs, technical documentation, repository organization, and capacity building for UNICEF Chile.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing tools and repositories for knowledge management, ensuring the systematization and accessibility of institutional knowledge. This includes organizing and analyzing programmatic data to generate evidence-based insights for decision-making. The consultant will also develop analytical products and technical reports that support the monitoring of program results and contribute to institutional learning. A key responsibility is to design and implement mechanisms for programmatic monitoring of the triple nexus, ensuring alignment with UNICEF's strategic objectives. Furthermore, the consultant will be tasked with transferring capacities to UNICEF Chile staff in areas of knowledge management and programmatic monitoring. This involves creating documentation, providing training, and fostering a culture of evidence-based practice within the country office. The role requires effective communication of technical information and the ability to manage information effectively using relevant tools and platforms.
Work Experience
At least five (5) years of professional experience in knowledge management, programmatic monitoring and evaluation, information analysis, evidence generation, or development of technical inputs for decision-making in social, humanitarian, or development programs.
