Job Purpose

The Senior Driver will play a critical role in providing safe, secure, reliable, and professional transportation services to the Head of Office. This position requires a trusted representative of the organization, ensuring efficient mobility while maintaining the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and client service. Beyond driving, the role involves supporting office operations through coordination with stakeholders, applying UN and diplomatic protocols, utilizing digital vehicle management systems, and providing basic administrative and logistical support. The Senior Driver will also contribute to team capability by sharing knowledge and supporting the development of other drivers, demonstrating a strong client-focused approach, sound judgment, and the ability to build effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

Provide reliable and safe driving services to the Head of Office and other authorized personnel, ensuring punctuality and adherence to schedules. Maintain the assigned vehicle in excellent condition, including regular checks, cleaning, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Ensure the vehicle is equipped with necessary safety equipment and supplies. Coordinate transportation needs with the office, anticipating requirements and planning routes efficiently. Adhere strictly to UN and diplomatic protocols, as well as local traffic laws and regulations. Utilize digital vehicle management and tracking systems for logging trips, mileage, and fuel consumption. Provide basic administrative and logistical support as needed, such as running errands or assisting with deliveries. Contribute to the development of junior drivers by sharing knowledge, best practices, and providing guidance. Respond effectively to vehicle-related incidents or emergencies, following established procedures. Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality regarding travel plans and office matters. Ensure the security and safety of passengers and the vehicle at all times.

Work Experience

At least 3 years of relevant work experience in executive transportation, driver services, fleet management, protocol management, security coordination, vehicle maintenance, logistics coordination, or road safety.
