Job Purpose
The Communication Officer (Partnership) will help strengthen UNICEF's partnerships and enhance the visibility of its programmes by supporting strategic communication and advocacy initiatives. Through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to stronger partner engagement, resource mobilization, and improved results for children in Pakistan. The role supports partnership engagement, communication, and visibility strategies and activities that strengthen awareness, understanding, and support for children's rights and UNICEF's mission and programmes. You will help enhance UNICEF's positioning with public and private partners through effective donor engagement, partner visibility, strategic communication efforts, and the development and stewardship of new and existing partnerships.
Responsibilities
The Communication Officer (Partnership) will support partnership engagement, communication and visibility strategies and activities that strengthen awareness, understanding and support children's rights and UNICEF's mission and programmes. Key areas of responsibility include: Partnership Communication, Media Relations, Networking and Partnerships, Global Priorities and Campaigns, Resource Mobilization Support, and Capacity Building and Support. The role involves enhancing UNICEF's positioning with public and private partners through effective donor engagement, partner visibility, strategic communication efforts, and the development and stewardship of new and existing partnerships, contributing to stronger resource mobilization, collaboration, and results for children in Pakistan. This position will work under the direct supervision of the Communication Specialist.
Work Experience
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Communication, Programme Management, or Public Affairs.
