Job Purpose
The National Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Consultant will be instrumental in strengthening YuWaah's partnerships ecosystem and enhancing its resource mobilization efforts. This role involves identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships that align with YuWaah's core priorities, and developing compelling partnership propositions and engagement materials. The consultant will actively support the advancement of opportunities with a wide range of partners, including corporates, foundations, philanthropies, and other key ecosystem players. A significant aspect of the role will be to strengthen partner stewardship and to support high-level convenings and collaborative platforms designed to catalyze cross-sector action for youth, ultimately contributing to YuWaah's mission and UNICEF's broader goals for children.
Responsibilities
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships aligned with YuWaah's priorities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Develop compelling partnership propositions, concept notes, grant proposals, pitch decks, and funder briefs tailored to diverse audiences, including corporates, foundations, government, and multilateral institutions. Support the advancement of partnership opportunities by engaging senior decision-makers and stakeholders across various sectors. Strengthen partner stewardship through consistent communication, engagement, and relationship management. Design and support high-level convenings, stakeholder dialogues, and multi-sector roundtables to foster collaboration and drive action. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential partners and funding sources. Monitor and report on partnership activities and resource mobilization progress. Contribute to the development and implementation of partnership strategies. Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal teams and external partners. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and best practices in partnership development and resource mobilization within the development sector.
Work Experience
Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, business development, partnerships, resource mobilization, or donor engagement. Proven experience in developing partnership materials and engaging senior decision-makers. Experience in designing and supporting convenings and dialogues is also required.
