Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to provide crucial technical support to the Education Section of EZ Recife. The consultant will be instrumental in the implementation, monitoring, and systematization of results for the UNICEF Seal (RS2) and City Agenda Recife strategies. A particular focus will be placed on the School Active Search (SAS) and Education that Protects (ETP) strategies. The role involves preparing technical inputs and systematizing outcomes, contributing to the effective execution of these educational initiatives between August and December 2026. The consultant will work in coordination with partners and relevant government departments, ensuring the successful advancement of educational programs for children and adolescents.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for developing a comprehensive Work Plan for the consultancy. This includes systematizing the August deliverables for the UNICEF Seal (RS2) across municipalities in Alagoas, Paraíba, and Pernambuco, specifically focusing on the School Active Search (BAE) platform and the Growing Together Platform (PCJ), in collaboration with Asserte. Additionally, the consultant will prepare a descriptive report of the monthly meetings of the Recife School Active Search Steering Committee. A key deliverable involves producing technical inputs for the Education that Protects (EQP) Action Plan of the Recife Municipal Education Department (SEMED), covering both the mobilization phase and the application of the capacity matrix. The consultant will also finalize the Education that Protects Action Plan for SEMED Recife and develop a planning document for the six-monthly School Active Search monitoring workshop.
Work Experience
At least two years of professional experience in education program support, monitoring and evaluation, or a related area. Experience with educational strategies and working with government partners is desirable.
