Job Purpose
Under the guidance of the Director, Partnership for a Lead-Free Future Secretariat, the purpose of this consultancy is to support content creation, audience engagement, and partnership building for the 'Partnership for a Lead Free Future' initiative. This role is crucial for enhancing the visibility and impact of the partnership's work, ensuring effective communication with diverse stakeholders, and fostering stronger collaborations. The consultant will be responsible for developing compelling content across various platforms, managing digital communication channels to reach target audiences, and actively contributing to the growth and success of the partnership through strategic engagement efforts.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with the partnership's goals, creating engaging written and visual materials for diverse platforms including websites, social media, newsletters, and reports. Manage and update the partnership's website and digital communication platforms, ensuring content is current, accurate, and optimized for reach. Design and produce digital communication products such as newsletters, social media posts, infographics, and presentations. Support the organization and execution of webinars and high-level events, including promotional activities and post-event follow-up. Monitor and analyze the performance of communication activities using analytics tools, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. Engage with partners and stakeholders through various communication channels to foster collaboration and information sharing. Assist in the development of communication materials for fundraising and advocacy efforts. Ensure all communications adhere to UNICEF's brand guidelines and messaging standards. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather information and stories for communication outputs. Maintain a database of communication assets and resources.
Work Experience
At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in communications, digital communications, advocacy, public information, or partner engagement. Experience supporting communications for international organizations, UN agencies, partnerships, NGOs, or development programmes. Experience producing digital communications products, newsletters, reports, social media content, and web content.
