Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to strengthen UNICEF Nigeria's Social and Community Listening (SCL) and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) systems, which are crucial for Social and Behavior Change (SBC) programming. The role will enhance the integration, visualization, and utilization of data from various sources, including digital listening platforms, community feedback mechanisms, surveys, and administrative systems. By improving data interoperability and developing unified dashboards, this assignment will enable timely, actionable insights for programme adaptation, reporting, and decision-making, ultimately supporting evidence-based programming and accountability to affected populations.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for designing and developing Power BI dashboards with disaggregation by state, LGA, and other relevant programme dimensions. This includes integrating data streams from social listening platforms like Talkwalker and linking datasets from CAIMS, CRM platforms, and Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) systems for consolidated reporting. A key responsibility is designing and operationalizing a comprehensive AAP dashboard to capture complaints, feedback, and accountability indicators. The consultant will also integrate community feedback data from INFORM and other channels for visualization and analysis, and configure RapidPro workflows for surveys, feedback collection, and automated reporting. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the documentation of system architecture, workflows, data flows, and integration processes, providing technical support for ongoing dashboard use, troubleshooting, refinement, and knowledge transfer, and collaborating closely with SBC, AAP, ICT, and M&E teams to ensure alignment with programme priorities, data protection standards, and data-use needs.
Work Experience
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data management, dashboard development (Power BI preferred), systems integration, and data analysis. Experience with social listening tools, RapidPro, and database management is highly desirable.
