Organizational Context

UNICEF Peru's Programme for the Protection of Children (PFP) team requires graphic design services to support its initiatives. This consultancy will establish a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) to provide ongoing design support for various communication materials, ensuring alignment with UNICEF's brand and mission.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this consultancy is to engage one or more professionals to provide graphic design services as per the requirements of the UNICEF Peru PFP team. A Long-Term Agreement (LTA) will be established for this service, which is a non-binding agreement outlining fixed terms of reference and unit prices. The LTA will have an initial validity period of one year, with the possibility of extension for a second and third year, contingent upon satisfactory performance. The consultant will be responsible for producing a range of design products, including reports, graphic lines, email templates, BTL montages, newsletters, two-pagers, promotional material mockups, social media art, and infographics, all contributing to UNICEF's communication and advocacy efforts for children's rights.

Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for delivering a variety of graphic design products to support UNICEF Peru's PFP team. This includes designing one report for UNICEF partners, creating two graphic lines for campaigns or loyalty programs, developing 50 email templates, producing 5 BTL montages for corporate allies, designing 10 newsletters, creating 10 two-pagers, mockups for 30 promotional materials, 120 social media graphics, and 12 infographics. All products must be delivered in electronic format, with the professional's scanned signature, and sent to the service supervisor. The consultant must ensure all design work aligns with UNICEF's brand guidelines and promotes children's rights. The consultant will also be responsible for managing all costs associated with the service, including any unforeseen expenses. Prior to signing the LTA, the consultant must complete required documentation and mandatory courses on UNICEF's AGORA platform, such as Prevention of Harassment and Abuse of Power, Ethics and Integrity, and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse. If traveling, BSAFE training is also required. For those with a UNICEF email, Fraud Awareness and UNICEF Information Security Awareness courses are mandatory.

Work Experience

Minimum of eight years of experience in graphic design. Experience in graphic design for human rights promotion organizations is highly valued.
