Job Purpose

The consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive services to enhance, integrate, maintain, and support UNICEF's Power Platform ecosystem. This includes assessing existing solutions, developing new applications, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. The role involves providing technical support, optimizing performance, and developing analytics and reporting capabilities. A key aspect will be data standardization, knowledge management, and leveraging AI capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform AI features, to improve business processes. The consultant will also be responsible for creating documentation and conducting knowledge transfer and capacity-building activities for UNICEF staff, ensuring the sustainable use and growth of the Power Platform environment.

Responsibilities

The consultant will undertake a range of tasks focused on the UNICEF Power Platform ecosystem. This includes conducting thorough assessments of current solutions and providing recommendations for enhancement and integration. Development of new applications and features within the Power Platform will be a core responsibility, alongside ensuring the maintenance, technical support, and optimization of existing applications. The consultant will be instrumental in developing analytics and reporting dashboards using tools like Power BI to provide actionable insights. Data standardization efforts will be crucial for improving data quality and usability. Furthermore, the role involves enabling data, knowledge, and AI capabilities, specifically integrating Microsoft AI features like Copilot into the platform. Finally, the consultant will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation and facilitating knowledge transfer and capacity-building sessions for UNICEF staff to ensure the effective and sustainable utilization of the Power Platform.

Work Experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Power BI, and Microsoft 365, focusing on enterprise application development and support. Experience in data analytics, dashboard development, information management, knowledge management solutions, and Microsoft AI capabilities is highly desirable. UN experience is also preferred.
