Organizational Context
UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfill their potential. At UNICEF, we are committed, passionate, and proud of what we do for as long as we are needed. Promoting the rights of every child is not just a job – it is a calling.
Job Purpose
The UNICEF Learning Innovation Hub is seeking a consultant to support resource mobilization, partnerships, and strategic communications for the Learning Passport (LP), UNICEF’s flagship digital learning platform. This role will contribute to the continued growth and sustainability of the Learning Passport by strengthening partner engagement, expanding the funding pipeline, and supporting high-quality reporting and visibility across global and country-level programmes. UNICEF works with governments and partners to build resilient and inclusive digital learning ecosystems that expand access to quality education for all children—particularly those who are marginalized, out of school, or affected by emergencies. The Learning Passport supports national digital learning platforms that enable curriculum delivery, teacher professional development, and continuity of learning across both formal and non-formal settings, including in low-connectivity and crisis contexts.
Responsibilities
Building on rapid global scale-up, the Learning Passport is entering a new phase focused on sustainability, system integration, and impact at scale. This includes strengthening partnerships with the private sector, National Committees, and global stakeholders to support long-term programme delivery and innovation. The consultant will play a critical role in advancing this agenda by supporting:
(i) the development and management of a strong partnerships and funding pipeline;
(ii) the creation of high-quality fundraising, reporting, and engagement materials; and
(iii) the coordination of strategic communications and visibility efforts across global and country programmes.
Working closely with the key programmatic focal points, Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP), National Committees, and country offices, the consultant will contribute to positioning the Learning Passport as a scalable, high-impact solution.
