Job Purpose
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide organizational design and transition support to the Payroll and Offboarding section and the Business Innovation and Support (BIS) section within the Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC). This support is crucial during a period of significant organizational adjustment and transition for both sections. The consultant will focus on practical recommendations and implementation to address sustained operational pressures, integration of workstreams, and the need to stabilize delivery while shaping longer-term structures. This includes clarifying roles, workflows, span of control, and staffing needs, as well as reviewing BIS structure, roles, work organization, accountabilities, and interfaces with other functions to ensure alignment with current and future business needs. The consultancy will also initiate a review of G7 roles in view of transition to GBS.
Responsibilities
Provide expert organizational design support to the Payroll and Offboarding section, focusing on clarifying roles, workflows, span of control, and staffing needs to manage high transaction volumes and integrate workstreams effectively. Conduct a comprehensive review of the Business Innovation and Support (BIS) section's structure, roles, work organization, distribution, accountabilities, and interfaces with other functions, including Business Process Modernization (BPM), to ensure alignment with current and future business needs. Develop practical recommendations for organizational structure, process improvements, and role definitions for both sections. Facilitate discussions and coach managers and teams through organizational change processes, ensuring a constructive and psychologically safe working environment. Support the implementation planning of proposed organizational changes. Initiate a review of G7 roles in collaboration with the People & Culture HR Business Partner (HRBP) team, in preparation for the transition to Global Business Services (GBS). Ensure service continuity is maintained throughout the transition period. Document findings, recommendations, and implementation plans.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in organizational design, change management, human resources, or a related field. Experience in shared services environments or large-scale organizational transitions is highly desirable.
