Job Purpose
Working under the guidance of the Corporate Alliances Manager, the post holder will partner with lead National Committee market(s), UNICEF country offices and internal divisions to develop, manage, grow and renew high-value corporate partnerships. The post holder will maximize impact by delivering financial resource targets and leveraging partners’ assets, reach and influence - through strong proposition development, sector expertise, global best practice and effective relationship management - so partnerships advance UNICEF’s strategic objectives. This role is crucial for securing the financial resources and strategic support needed to advance UNICEF's mission for children worldwide.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of priority corporate prospects and partnerships with lead National Committee(s), aligned to UNICEF strategic priorities, to deliver agreed partnership goals and strategic targets in collaboration with PFP teams and key UNICEF divisions. Monitor partnership performance and work with National Committee(s) to ensure delivery of income targets, progress against strategic objectives, and an agreed partnership vision with clear, implemented objectives. Ensure aligned and coordinated global activity plans across communications and business advocacy to maximize partnership reach, influence, and results. Deliver best-in-class partnership development and management, building strategic, high-impact corporate partnerships for children and supporting growth and renewal. Align and coordinate internal UNICEF stakeholders (e.g., Programme, Communications, Due Diligence, Legal, CRB, Innovation, Advocacy and other engagement channels) to optimize partnership impact. Lead knowledge management for priority partnerships by keeping key information accessible and up to date, supporting appropriate dissemination, and identifying gaps with National Committee(s) with a clear support action plan. Support development, maintenance and dissemination of partnership guidelines and toolkits, and build sector expertise (1–2 sectors) to strengthen partnership engagement.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of professional experience in partnership development, corporate fundraising, or a related field is required. Experience working with National Committees or in a UN context is an asset.
