Job Purpose
The UNICEF Global Individual Giving Fundraising Team seeks a Project Manager to co-lead the Global Giving Platform 2.0 (GGP2.0), an enterprise-level Content Management System (CMS) and Digital Experience Platform (DXP). This platform, utilizing Optimizely technology, aims to provide UNICEF offices worldwide with a trusted, donor-centered, and user-friendly e-commerce product to enhance digital fundraising revenue. The project emphasizes a donor-obsessed, iterative, trust-first, and future-focused approach, incorporating new technologies like AI. The role involves managing governance and collaboration with fundraisers through constant communication, ensuring the platform's scalability, security, and effectiveness in driving fundraising growth globally.
Responsibilities
Co-lead the enterprise-level Global Giving Platform 2.0 (GGP2.0), an e-commerce product designed for digital fundraising across UNICEF offices globally. Utilize Optimizely CMS/DXP technology to ensure a high standard of user experience and drive fundraising revenue growth. Implement core project concepts: donor obsession based on data, iterative testing, prioritizing security (PCI compliance) and privacy, and integrating future technologies like AI. Develop and manage the platform's scalable and secure product strategy. Establish and maintain effective governance and collaboration mechanisms with fundraisers through constant communication and feedback loops. Manage the platform's development and rollout across diverse markets with varying maturity levels, ensuring alignment with agreed design frameworks. Oversee project planning, budget management, and resource allocation for implementation and business-as-usual phases. Accountable for go/no-go criteria with vendors and agencies, orchestrating multi-market launches effectively. Ensure the platform adheres to trust-first principles, including security, privacy, and reliability.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in end-to-end project management of CMS platform rollouts, preferably Optimizely. Experience with CMS architectures, launching CMS migrations in multi-market environments, and understanding decentralized vs. hybrid architectures is essential. Proven experience in establishing work processes, communication channels, and feedback mechanisms with stakeholders. Experience in program/project planning, budget management, and mapping funding to delivery phases is required.
