Job Purpose
The Livelihoods Pathways Consultant will support UNICEF's Generation Unlimited (GenU) to develop a flagship livelihoods model and practical tools for the Creative Academy. This consultancy aims to equip young people with creative, digital, and AI-enabled skills and support their transition into dignified and sustainable livelihoods. The work will focus on establishing clear pathways from skilling to earning, including employment, freelancing, and entrepreneurship, initially in India and Brazil, with a view to creating a global model. The consultant will ensure the Creative Academy moves beyond mere skilling to provide structured, flexible, and realistic earning opportunities, considering the non-linear nature of youth transitions and the diverse support needs of young people. This role is crucial for informing GenU’s broader skilling-to-earning portfolio across various global initiatives.
