Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to provide tailored rollout, support, troubleshooting, and training to UNICEF Country Offices in the Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) region. The goal is to enhance their application of digital tools in everyday programme implementation, addressing the increased digitization trend championed by the Office of Strategy and Evidence (OSE) and the Digital Impact Division (DID). Regional offices require in-house technical capacity to support Country Offices in the transition, usage, and troubleshooting of various digital tools, including eTools, UN Partner Portal, Partner Reporting Portal, Last Mile Supply Monitoring, eWorkPlan, and others in development. This role is crucial for ensuring compliant programme implementation with downstream partners, especially in medium to smaller offices with limited internal capacity.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for UNICEF's digital tools, including eTools, UN Partner Portal, Partner Reporting Portal, Last Mile Supply Monitoring, and eWorkPlan, to Country Offices in the APRO region. Develop and deliver tailored training materials and sessions to Country Office staff and implementing partners on the effective use of these digital tools. Support the rollout of new digital tools and functionalities, ensuring smooth integration into existing programme implementation processes. Assess the specific needs of Country Offices and implementing partners regarding digital tool requirements and provide customized solutions. Collaborate with the Office of Strategy and Evidence (OSE) and Digital Impact Division (DID) to stay updated on new developments and best practices in digital tool implementation. Document best practices, lessons learned, and user feedback to inform future tool development and support strategies. Assist Country Offices in ensuring compliant programme implementation with their downstream partners through effective use of digital tools. Travel to Country Offices as required to provide on-site support and training.
Work Experience
At least five years of experience supporting offices with the rollout, support, and troubleshooting of digital tools and systems.
