Job Purpose
We are seeking a reliable and professional Drivers for Dnipro, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv offices to provide safe, efficient, and timely transportation services in support of organizational operations. The role involves driving staff, visitors, and goods to various locations, including field sites, while strictly adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards. The Driver will also maintain vehicle readiness through routine checks, ensure proper documentation of trips, and use digital tools for fleet management and reporting. A strong sense of responsibility, discretion, and professionalism is essential in this role. In addition to driving duties, the Driver supports office operations during non-driving periods by assisting with administrative tasks and participating in training and safety activities. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, at least two years of professional driving experience, and a clean driving record. Excellent communication skills, a client-oriented approach, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment are required. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the continuity, safety, and credibility of field operations.
Responsibilities
The Driver provides reliable and safe driving services while ensuring compliance with local traffic rules and UNICEF protocols. Drivers are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, adaptability and protocol awareness. They are also expected to support administrative tasks and engage in self-directed learning during non-driving periods. The Driver demonstrates a client-oriented approach, courtesy, tact, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively with people of diverse national and cultural backgrounds. Key functions, accountabilities and related duties/tasks include: 1. Safe and Reliable Driving Services: Ensuring the safety of passengers and cargo during transit, adhering to all traffic laws and UNICEF safety protocols. Planning and executing efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption. 2. Routine Vehicle Care, Maintenance and Readiness: Performing daily checks on vehicles (e.g., oil, water, tires, brakes) and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained. Maintaining vehicle logbooks and ensuring all maintenance records are up-to-date. 3. Use of Digital Tools: Utilizing digital tools for fleet management, trip logging, and reporting as required by the organization. Ensuring accurate data entry for all activities.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of professional driving experience is required. Experience in a multicultural environment or with an international organization is an asset.
