Job Purpose
The consultant will provide time-bound, deliverable-based support to the PROSPECTS Digital Opportunity Accelerator, situated within the Skills & Secondary Education pillar of the Global Education Practice in Amman. The assignment's core objective is to establish and operationalize a Community of Practice, enhance programme implementation, strengthen country coordination and workflow/SOPs, and improve programme management tools and knowledge systems for the Digital Opportunities Accelerator and related objectives within the Skills & Secondary Education portfolio. The consultant is expected to develop standardized, practical, and transferable tools, templates, and guidance to boost efficiency, reinforce coordination, and ensure the sustainability of systems beyond the consultancy period, thereby contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Global Education Practice.
Responsibilities
The consultant will support programme coordination, knowledge management, and operational efficiency by designing and implementing effective systems, tools, and workflows. Key functions include leading Community of Practice (CoP) coordination to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders. The consultant will develop a comprehensive Programme Implementation Toolkit, providing standardized resources and guidance to enhance program delivery across various country contexts. Additionally, the role involves strengthening Knowledge Systems by improving the organization, accessibility, and utilization of program-related information and best practices. This includes designing and implementing mechanisms for capturing, sharing, and applying lessons learned. The consultant will also focus on improving operational efficiency through the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for workflow and travel coordination, ensuring smoother execution of program activities. Ultimately, the consultant's efforts will contribute to enhancing programme management tools and knowledge systems, ensuring their sustainability and effectiveness in supporting the Digital Opportunities Accelerator and the broader Skills & Secondary Education portfolio.
Work Experience
Minimum of 10 years of relevant administrative services or clerical work experience is required. Experience in budget and financial planning, monitoring, and management is highly desirable.
